Disable “xx people liked this” in Google Reader
Not long ago a “like” function came into the Google Reader and shows an EXTREMELY annoying message “xx people liked this” under posts. Who necessarily cares how many people liked this post? I click a post, just because the post itself is interesting but not it is liked by other people.
It seems that Google did not provide any option to turn off this feature at first, but finally there comes one now! In the GReader Setting pane, there is a “Only show ‘Likes’ by people you follow” option now. As soon as this option is enabled, the world becomes nice and clean again…
